Inari Kitsune - 2016 Epic Spring MKAL
MKAL begins April 1st
Inari Kitsune is a double-knit pattern that features foxes depicted in a Sumi-e (ink painting) art style. It comes in two variations - a large scarf or a smaller cowl. Clues for both variations will release once every two weeks over an 8 week period.
When you purchase the pattern you will receive an introductory file download of the schedule, pattern details, and swatch.
Dates of Note
February 28 - Welcome Letter
April 1st - Clue 1
April 15th - Clue 2
April 29th - Clue 3
May 12th - Clue 4
- Scarf - 2 skeins/800 yards of MC (Miami Red or Black Pearl) and 2 skeins/800 yards of CC (Crying Dove) - 1600 yards total
- Cowl - 1 skein/400 yards of MC (Miami Red or Black Pearl) and 1 skein/400 yards of CC (Crying Dove) - 800 yards total
- Stitch Markers
- One set of 16” Circular US 2 (2.75mm) or needle size needed to obtain gauge

This is an intermediate level project, previous experience with double-knitting/chart reading is recommended. Double knitting technique instructions are not included. More resources on double knitting can be found in this thread.
