The ‘Incantation Socks’ were inspired by all things magical !

The yarn I used was custom dyed for me to reflect the rising steam from a cauldron, where a wonderfully mystical potion is being brewed. It makes me think of my favourite scene from the Harry Potter movies, where Snape enters the classroom and tells his students that there will be no wand waving or silly incantations in his class - hence the name !

The lace pattern is simple, fun and highly addictive. It feels like they knit up in a flash, and secretly I think that the potion we brewed gave a helping hand in this !

The pattern has 3 sizes in fingering weight, plus a bonus pattern which is knit in a DK weight - perfect snuggly house socks !
