Show off your patriotism with this charming stars and stripes bag. It’s the perfect size to carry small projects such as socks, hats, or children’s toys or use it to store circular needles and tools.

The bag starts with just a few stitches on double-point needles in the center of the base, working towards the outside in the round and then working up the sides of the bag to the open end.

There are instructions for adding a fabric lining, a plastic canvas bottom for extra support and grommets, all of which are optional.

The bottom has a beautiful star motif and the blue and white striped sides are accented by another star, created using the duplicate stitch.
