Indian Cross Scarf

October 2007
Aran (8 wpi) ?
16 stitches = 4 inches
in stockinette stitch
US 9 - 5.5 mm

For this scarf you'll cast on stitches for the entire length. That's a lot of stitches, but you won't have too many rows to work. You'll need a long circular needle to hold all those stitches.

Measurements: Approximately 5” (13 cm) wide and 53” (135 cm) long

Yarn: Mountain Colors Merino Ribbon, 80% super fine merino/20% nylon, 3.5 oz (100 g)/245 yds (224 m), Ruby River

Needles: One US 9 (5.5 mm) circular needle 32” (80 cm) long or size you need to obtain correct gauge

Other Supplies: Tapestry needle, crochet hook for fringe.
