This pretty top is a cropped, boxy shape which makes it easy to adjust for any size. Full instructions are given as to how to do this.

The top is designed to be oversize and the written pattern produces a top which would fit a 34”-44” bust. Sleeves are elbow length - but can also be adjusted for your preference.

The top is worked in one piece in rows, from the front bottom up and over the neckline, and then down the back. It is then seamed at the sleeves and side seams, with options for waist shaping, if you like, at the end.

A variety of broomstick lace techniques are used to add interest - I am planning a follow up video to demonstrate these. In the meantime I have provided written instructions. You can easily make this using less of the stitches if you like - customise it to suit your style!

The finished top as written used 600m of yarn - obviously if you make adjustments to the fit this will alter.

Have fun and here’s to more sunshine :)
