The materials required are:

Supplies
1 ¾ skeins of Lion-Brand Wool-Ease worsted weight yarn
or between 330-350 yards any other worsted weight yarn

Armwarmers use 97-102 grams or 220-230 yards of yarn
Cap uses 45-55 grams or 110-120 yards of yarn

32” or longer 5.5mm (US size 9) circular knitting needles for magic loop method or DPNs
32” or longer 5mm (US size 8) circular knitting needles for magic loop method or DPNs
32” or longer 4.5mm (US size 7) circular knitting needles for magic loop method or DPNs

Tapestry needle
Optional: crochet hook to cinch top of hat
Stitch marker

Wool-Ease is an Aran weight yarn. If you use a smaller, worsted weight yarn, your project may be far too small. You will have to watch your gauge carefully. If you’re unsure, it will be best to use a heavy worsted or light bulky yarn if you’re not using Wool-Ease for your project
