There is lots of versatility with this pattern.

Ingram Scarf, Shawl/Stole, Baby Blanket, Lap Robe, or Couch-size Afghan.

Especially good for the slightly experienced Beginner Knitter that feels ready to step up their skills. This pattern assumes that the knitter has mastered casting on, knit and purl stitches, and binding off. The Beginner will learn to combine knit and purl stitches into an all-over diamond design. Instructions are included to adjust the width and length of the scarf, rectangular shawl/stole, baby blanket, lap robe, or afghan. Ingram makes a great prayer shawl.

Because it is worked with Size 10 ½ US (6.5 mm) needles and worsted weight yarn, Ingram works up into a medium weight fabric.
