This pattern is named for the location in which I knitted it - during our cruise of Alaska this past August!! This shawl is done in garter stitch with a drop stitch interruption. You begin with a tab cast on and work stripes of each yarn. I chose to work with the same variagated colorway in the two yarns, but it would be just as pretty in solids. This versatile wrap can be worn many ways, as shown in the photos.
