Constructed with 2x2 ribbing at the wrist and fingers and a gusset thumb. Features an s-curving cable section that runs close to the thumb on the top of the hand. I wrote this pattern after winging it on a pair of mitts for a friend. This pattern works with any worsted weight yarn in any fiber, though a wool blend with a touch of silk or bamboo will help the cable stitches stand out. Solid or semi-solid yarns show the cable pattern best.
