While designing the pattern the author of the book “Vettlingar Mittens” published 2012 was under the influence of some of her favorite contemporary fashion designers. In particular she admired their use of patterns along with unusual and fresh color combination.

Only one or two colors are used at the same time.

4 or 5 ply yarn to fit gauge
15 stitches x 20 rounds on 3mm needles = 5x5 cm
Mittens are 8.5 cm wide and 26 cm long including cuff.
