Originally designed for the May Phat Fiber sampler box, “Blossoms & Bark.”

You know what can be found on bark and blossoms?
Grubs!
The “grubs” on this slightly slouchy hat are made by slipping
stitches with yarn in front. This technique breaks up the color
patterning in the yarn, making this pattern perfect for wildly
colored handpainted sock yarn.
