Pattern Description from Scarf Style: “This scarf takes its undulating shape from an unusual cable-stitch pattern. After the cable crosses, the cable stitches separate into strands that flow out and back in again for the next cable crossing. Arranged in an interlocking series, the pattern resembles a graceful fleet of hot air balloons. Shirley Paden has made the scarf in a classic came-colored yarn, a soft blend of Merino, alpaca, and silk. Try it in a bright mohair or shiny rayon for a very different effect.”
