This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Patti-Ann Williamson.

This brioche-stitch scarf is a great introduction to the brioche stitch. There are three different options in this pattern (regular brioche, interrupted brioche, and Fibonacci brioche), and two different size options (small and large). There is also no need to use worsted weight yarn; if you’d rather use chunkier or thinner yarn you’re more than welcome to! There’s no “knitting police” here! :) Remember to change your needle size accordingly (we recommend you use the size of needle suggested on the ball band), and you may also wish to cast on more (or fewer) stitches.

Materials Required:
180 (360) meters of worsted-weight yarn
4.5mm knitting needles
5mm crochet hook (for the crochet cast-on)

Finished sizes:
Small = 5.5” x 55”
Large = 8” x 75”
(sizes are easily adjustable to any desired length or width!)
