These mittens are designed to match with the Intersections Break Hat designed by Mel Ski of the SingleHandedKnits podcast. They contain a simple cable pattern along the top side of the mitten with reverse stockinette stitch on the palm; which makes for a really soft inside against your hand! Luscious to the eyes and to the skin.

These mittens also include a fun feature for those of you that get cold hands when you have to answer a text. A texting hole is created on each thumb to allow for your thumb to slip out of the mitten and back in quickly for those that use a touch screen smartphone! Instructions for this feature are included at the end of each set of instructions for the mittens. Gauge:

• 7 stitches/inch in cable pattern
• 5 stitches/inch reverse stockinette
