Needles: US size 9 (5.5 mm) needles: straight or 24” circular needles, extra needle for cowl

Notions: Cable needle, tapestry needle

Special Stitches: Cable Pattern; M1 (Make 1 increase)

Pattern Notes ~ If following the charted version, the first and last three stitches are in garter stitch (knit every row). These stitches are included in the written directions.

Cowl: After the cast on, work the cable pattern as indicated. Undo provisional cast on, putting stitches on a spare needle. Kitchener stitch in pattern. Continue with finishing.
