Into the Depths of the Sea is a half-pi shawlette worked from the top down. The stitch patterns for this shawl, matched with the colors of the gradient yarn, were chosen to show the progression from the waters edge through the deepest reaches of the sea.

Materials
Knit Picks Stroll Gradient (3.5 oz/100 g, 458 yd/419 m, 75% Superwash Merino Wool/25% Nylon), 1 hank fingering weight yarn CYCA 1, Sea You Later
US size 5 3.75 mm needles or size to obtain correct gauge
Stitch markers; Tapestry needle

Approximately 19 sts and 20 rows = 4” 10 cm in Feather & Fan stitch after blocking
