This is yet another pattern in the Into the Woods family!
I can’t seem to stop loving this little stitch pattern.
After the socks version, here’s the scarf and the infinite cowl versions.
This time round, I experimented with color to really bring forward the texture. The process is SO satisfying and addictive! You won’t be able to put it down! Here’s a little video in which I was working on the sample.

Both versions are knit in the round, seamlessly, starting with a provisional cast-on.

Now the difficult question is to scarf or to infinite cowl?
