This pattern was inspired by the idea of having something warm and cozy for winter.

If you know how to knit through the back loop and purl through the back loop, this is a very easy pattern.

The Mock cable gives this piece the look of cables without the use of a cable needle.

With the use of Double Buttons, two buttons joined with a shank (instructions for the buttons are in the pattern), this shawl can be turned into a blanket, a shrug and many other accessories by re-positioning the buttons. The holes that are created in the pattern are used as button holes. The pictures show my two favorite ways to wear this piece.

This pattern is made with one skein of yarn (it is a big one, but only one).
