Intrical is one of those projects that is simultaneously potato chipp-y and satisfying. Intuitive lace and mosaic motifs flow seamlessly into one another as the background colors shift. Each section is perfect for a gradient set, miniskein, or favorite leftover, and the flexibility in terms of color schemes is vast. Whatever you choose, the FO is sure to be as eye-catching as it is elegant.

Worked on the bias from one end to the other, Intrical’s modular construction is easy to modify to suit preference or yardage. Pattern includes tips for altering both the width and the length.

Why “Intrical”? As I knit, watching the seamless flow of mosaic into lace and back again as the colors shifted brought a trio of words to mind: “intricate,” “integral,” and “integrated.” “Intrical” is a mash-up of all three, representing the way complicated-looking motifs come together into a whole in which each component is essential.

Lace and mosaic are both written and charted, and Intrical has been tech edited and test knit, so you can cast on with confidence!
