Intwined Bag
Designed to be a knitting carry-all this bag easily fits three medium projects or even a whole sweater and some socks! Worked with two contrasting colors of bulky wool this bag is fun, fast and after felting, sturdy enough to last for years.
This bag has been worked in two samples, the Woolpak sample is Green and Purple and the Knitpicks Wool of the Andes samples is turquoise and black. Both PDFs are available to download when the pattern is purchased.
SIZE: One size
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Circumference: 41 inches around middle after felting, top closes to 21 inches circumference with strap
Height: 18.5 inches after felting Strap: 42 inches after felting
The bag may be bigger or smaller depending on your felting.
There have been some questions about the place markers on Round 1, if you are having difficulty with placing them on the 1st round, try this instead:
Round 1: k around
Round 2: *k1, m1; rep from * around
Round 3: *k2, pm; rep from * around
Round 4: *k to m, M1R, sm; rep from * around
Work rounds 5-45 as written
Errata: For Increase Rounds the repeat should say Rounds 4-43 repeat rounds 2-3
The grey or blacked out stitches on the chart are literally not stitches, they are simply place holders in the graph for where the stitches that are made in the increases will be in the next row. When you are reading that increase (or the decrease) row in the chart skip over them visually but not in the knitting, just go onto the next stitch that is coloured and work it for the next stitch on the needle.
