Pattern description from The Celtic Collection: “A soft chunky chenille yarn in a lovely heathery tone was the starting point of this design; it reminded me of the moors in my native countryside. This time I have worked a single knotwork emblem on the back and front of a sweater, with a simplified version on the sleeves. The two-tone checked pattern on the borders echoes those used to frame more elaborate designs in the ancient manuscripts.”
