I created this pattern for myself to have a cozy little secure spot for my brandy spankin’ new ipod i got for my birthday! LOVE IT! ipod and sleeve both.

This is a knitting pattern for a great little place to put your ipod and keep it safe, especially when you don’t have any pockets on you for a day. it features a wire hole in the pocket so that you are able to snake the wire through your sleeve of your shirt and out the neck. No pesky wires hanging out all over the place and getting in the way! It is a sleeve that is knit from wrist to elbow using intarsia method to create my curly vine design which i think is super duper COOL. The pocket that holds the ipod is on the inside and a flap with felted button secures the ipod to prevent any fallage that could possibly occur without such security. Because a smashed ipod only brings tears and that’s not what we’re shootin’ for here :)

The pattern features one size which fits the average woman or teenager. Finished measurements are approx. 10” long(from wrist to elbow), 5” wide at widest point(the forearm) and 3.5” wide at narrowest point(the wrist). It is knit in the round and includes charts for intarsia work.
You can make this sleeve with only one skein of yarn if you omit the curly vine. Otherwise you will need one skein of each color.

This sleeve is also great for holding other things such as mp3players, cell phones, credit cards…the possibilties are endless.
