Details: Iridaceae was designed especially for fingering weight gradient kits; simple and elegant but fun to knit. The tee is worked as a top down raglan with a feminine scoop neck. Stripes of progressing color are separated by slipped stitch sections that give a blended look to the color transition rather than an abrupt change. It looks complex but only 1 color is used per round. The hem and sleeves are finished with sleek 1x1 ribbing while the neck is finished with a thick applied icord. There is optional gentle waist shaping. This design is suitable for an adventurous beginner.

The name Iridaceae is the scientific name of the Iris family. The colorway featured in the sample is Siberian Iris.
