Summary: Loose fitting tunic-style pullover with allover lace pattern and cables finishing the neckline, side hems, and down the sleeves. Elsebeth notes the pattern is “a bit of a challenge. Keeping track of the lace patten can be a bit complicated, which I have tried to compensate for by letting the overall design consist mainly of straight pieces. There are increases on the sides of the sleeves, but they are made under the arm, so an occasional mistake won’t show.

“The cables at the sides are knit separately, which gives you a little more finishing to do, but on the other hand, there is no need to match the row gauge perfectly. All things considered, to classify Iris as a an Intermediate project would be pretty accurate. The lace pattern is a type that “collapses” so the garment will look slimmer than the measurements indicate.“
