Errata: Materials-->Yarn should read 3 skeins of Cypress, not Cyprus. Quince and Co. does not carry yarn in the color of the country, Cyprus. Not sure what I was thinking there.

This pullover is designed like a baseball T-shirt, with the sleeves in a different color than the body. The Fair Isle sleeve pattern, combined with the baseball T color work gives this basic raglan pullover a new look. It uses a lot of techniques, including Fair Isle and intarsia, round and flat knitting; therefore it may not be the best for beginning knitters. It is worked flat until the body and sleeves are divided, and continues in the round for the rest of the sweater. It is designed to have approximately 2 inches of positive ease for a relaxed fit.

This is my first pattern design ever, and true to my nature I designed a pretty complicated pattern. Also, I had a lot of kinks to work out, and unfortunately I did not not take the best notes on all the mods I made…to my own pattern. I’m offering this pattern for free because I think it may still have some kinks in it. Please try it and keep me updated about errors! Future patterns will be documented better, I promise. I’d be happy to try to help anyone out if they try making this and run into problems! Unfortunately, it’s only written for size M because I did not feel confident I could accurately write other sizes using my sub-par notes :/

But apart from that, this turned out to be a warm, funky, stylish pullover. It was just a huge learning curve and a complex pattern, esp. for a first design. However, this pattern that can be modified easily: sizing, length, neckline, and shaping can all be made to the knitters preference. If you are up to so many techniques in one pattern, give it a try, I’m curious to see how other colors look!
