This impressionistic rendition of irises was inspired by one of the yarns used -- Handu Handdyed. It comes in two 50-gram color-coordinated skeins, one solid and one variegated. I found two more solid yarns in iris colors and put them all together in an easy slip-stitch pattern that only looks complicated. Every other color stripe blends into the color stripe above it via slip stitches, and the variegated skein of Handu keeps the results from looking too uniform.
