Description from book:

“Any dog will look just dashing in this modern version of a traditional cabled Irish Fisherman sweater. Knit with bulky wool, this heirloom sweater is a speedy introduction to cables. The neck and tail ends are left unribbed for an updated look on an old favorite. The seed-stitch panels on the side are more than an attractive feature; they allow the sweater to be knit with or without sleeves, while still maintaining a finished appearance. And don’t forget the matching fingerless gloves for you! The bulky cables are a nod to teh Aran Islands where the style originated, while the fingerless design allows you to hold your pup’s leash with ease.”

This sweater is knit in two pieces--front and back. Sleeves can be added by picking up stitches around the armholes.
