Irish Rose
A simple crochet bodice with fabric skirt attached making for a beautiful and quick to make top.

This pattern is a part of 3 patterns if the Trio of Toppers series.

This is an easy pattern requiring some knowledge of increasing and decreasing stitches and sewing methods

Materials
#10 crochet cotton
small amounts #10 crochet cotton in pink and green
Size 5/1.90mm steel crochet hook or hook needed for gauge
½ yard 44” wide fabric
½ yard of ¼” elastic
sewing machine or sewing needle and thread

Gauge 9 sts and 4dc rows = 1”

Stitches used
Dc=double crochet, hdc=half double crochet, sc=single crochet, ch=chain, sl st=slip stitch

Top is worked from the top down first in rows making 2 separate pieces (front and back) the 2 pieces are then joined and worked in the round.
Sizes are as follows 2/3 (4/5, 6/7, 8/9)
Finished measurements 22(24, 26, 28) inches
