Iroise Sea includes a cowl and a hat. The cowl starts with broken rib stitch, before transitioning to cables. It then ends with broken rib stitch. The two parts in broken rib stitch are then sewn on top of each other to close the cowl.
The hat is knitted starting with the top part, which is worked sideways. Stitches are then picked up to knit the brim. The hat is then closed using a mattress stitch.
The patterns include written instructions and a chart.

Size US 6 (4 mm), US 7 (4,5 mm) straight needles.

Gauge
Stockinette stitch: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4” x 4” in US 7 (4,5mm) needles.

Mer d’Iroise est un ensemble contenant un snood et un bonnet. Le col commence par du point de sable avant de passer aux torsades et de terminer par une autre section de point de sable. Celle-ci est ensuite superposée à la première et cousue pour fermer le col.
Le bonnet se tricote en commençant par la section de torsades. Des mailles sont ensuite relevées pour tricoter les côtes. Le bonnet se termine par une couture invisible.
