This hat was requested by a young friend of my daughter’s. The beauty of this pattern is that it can be worn by men and women alike, any color can be used, and it’s just so darn easy to make. The hat is a basic Ann Budd hat pattern, incorporating a chart for the Peace sign.

This is a stranded color project. I worked flat from the cast-on edge, until I was finished with the chart. Then I joined the ends and continued working in the round. Definitely keep your stitches loose while using the second color, and definitely wrap your yarn every three stitches, to keep the yarn set and tidy on the WS.
