I designed this with a table runner in mind, however it could just as easily be used for a doily, placemats or even made up to be as big as a bedspread.

I chose the old Celtic name Iseult as the motifs I created remind me a little of Celtic motifs.

I used 8 ply cotton yarn with a 5 mm crochet hook, but you can use any yarn and hook combination. I have provided measurements in the pattern.

Fine cotton works well for a lacier, more traditional doily look.

There are 3 motifs in the pattern that you join, then border with a pom pom stitch at each corner. I have a link to how to do this in the pattern.

As always, I have provided the pattern in both UK & US terms so you can pick what you are most comfortable with.
