Island Orange is a lovely big shawl to knit for the summer. It can serve as a beach cover up or look pretty over a dress worn for an evening out. The flow and drape when knitted with the yarn as shown here, create a lacy open fabric which makes it feel very comfortable.

The stockinette and easy to remember lace stitches make your project grow fast. The pattern is fully written and also offers a chart for the lace featured.

Rectangular in shape, the size is 55” in length and 26” in width, unblocked as shown here. Blocking can easily add even more length or width.

Yarn
2 Skeins of Element, 220 yards of DK weight in 3 strands of linen, cotton and rayon in subtle color variations per skein.
