This design was written to complement the exquisite, original Isolde sock design by Meg Warren in What Would Madame Defarge Knit? The adult version is so elegant and beautiful that having a matching pair for your little one is too good to pass up! I personally knit a pair of each for me and my son when he was an infant, and we loved matching. These socks are fast and fun, especially with the anticipation of placing them on little feet.
If you love knitting in the round, crossing off finished rounds on a chart, and then grafting socks closed as fast as you can, then this pattern has your name written all over it. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do and knit them over and over again.
