The inspiration for this pattern comes from an owl. I used three colors of ispie raffia, but it can also work if you only have two colors. So when purchasing the yarn, you might need to buy three rolls, with two rolls being used for the body (2 plys) and one roll in the ivory color for the eyes. This would make a great Halloween gift for children!
