I didn’t give a gauge in the pattern, because I think it can be adapted for a lot of different yarns and needle sizes. My finished version is 22.5 in circumference, but you can block it to be narrower or wider too. You can make it a little wider than you would make a hat to give it a drape-y look, or even bigger to hang around your neck, or narrower to stand up more.

I noticed in finished objects that someone caught a mistake in the pattern--please note that you will end in the second row with p2, k1, NOT k2, p2, k1 as stated in the PDF. When I get a chance, I will upload a corrected version.
