This scarf/shawl can be made from fingering weight, sport weight, dk weight and worsted weight. The directions for all yarn weights are included in the pattern.

-For the fingering and sport weight yarns, 227 yards will be needed. It uses the size US 11 (8 mm) needles.
-For the dk and worsted weight yarn 218 yards will be needed and the size 15 US(10 mm) needles.

I recommend short, straight needles for knitting as that is more comfortable, but certainly long or circular can be used.

Gauge isn’t really important, however, there are gauges given for each weight of yarn, so that you know you will have enough give and stretch for your project.

No charts are needed the pattern is so easily learned that, “It’s a Breeze.” :)
