Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “Last winter I made the bikini from the first Stitch ‘n Bitch book and added my own polka-dot pattern. I liked it a lot, but wanted something a little different, and even more dots. Several revisions and a billion polka dots later, this tankini was born. The top can work with shorts or a skirt off the beach, too. The yarn I used has a bit of elastic for a nice snug fit. I modeled the bottoms on my favorite, best-fitting underwear. They have a good amount of coverage but won’t make you look like you’re wearing granny panties. It’s perfect for sunbathing and frolicking on the beach. Have fun, and don’t forget your sunscreen!”
