When it happens, it’s sudden and unexpected. It touches you. It fills you with wonder. Everything becomes possible.

Ivel was one such inspiration -- an extension of my great love affair with beauty. May it inspire the same in you

NOTE FROM DESIGNER:

The updated pattern is now available. It addresses various size issues by taking a different approach to waistline decreases as well as the issue of negative ease. It also incorporates a more natural yoke finish and prominent collar that balances the regal lines of the coat. The update will be emailed to those who purchased it already within the next 24hrs. Thank you again for your patience and enjoy! ***

Prepare to wow your family and friends with this truly special, but surprisingly effortless coat. The tailored design brings out the best in two special yarns from Rowan and offers endless possibilities for coordinating colors as they are held together or separately throughout. You will have ample opportunity to explore provisional cast-on, shaping with darts, raglan decreases, and yoke techniques. You will also learn a unique approach to securing hook-and-eye closures for an invisible finish. Can’t commit to a full length? Ivel can be easily shortened for a cropped fit. Sublevi’s pattern instructions offer 12 pages of guidance with diagrams, charts, and detailed photos.
