This summery, fitted, yoked pullover is knitted from the top down. It has lace edgings around a large neckline and short, short sleeves. The yoke has a twisted lattice design worked over reverse stockinette. It’s designed to be fairly tight fitting. Gauge is very important to get a correct fit.

I’ve changed the pattern slightly from the original since 20 sts per 4” is a much more realistic gauge for DK yarn than 16 sts per 4”. The difference between the original and this version is the number to cast on (120 vs 156), the number of pattern repeats in the yoke (20 vs 26), the number of pattern repeats in the lower body (6 vs 7), the number of sts to reserve for the sleeves (40 vs 60), and the number of sts cast on at the underarm (9 (11, 13, 15) vs 15 (19, 23, 27)).

Since I’m short (petite sized), I’ve also included with the pattern directions for making the sweater petite.

Ivywild is the small community that I grew up in.
