Ixidor is a unisex lace slouchy hat. The name originates from ancient times. It means “gift of Isis”, a Goddess of ancient Egypt. It can be a regular hat, a slouch or a Tam. It all depends on how you block it. You may see its versatility in the main picture, worn in different ways.

This hat has stitch numbers for sizes S(mall), M(edium), L(arge), XL(arge) for adults. The rib band measures about 18( 20, 22, 24) inches if you get guage.

It has written instructions and a chart as well. If you substitute yarns, make sure you get gauge. Blocking is what makes this hat what you want. I find it is a great choice for anyone who wants to wear a little bit of lace with some intriguing textured stitches. It has the left cross and right cross cables to create an interesting textured lace hat. They are great cables without having to use an actual cable needle.

I hope you enjoy making this beautiful hat.

Thanks to my friends Naomi and Kesten for the work in proof reading and testing the hat,
