It’s a winner for boys or girls with a new and clever idea for sleeves

Materials: Cottontop 7 (7, 8), Gem (cc) 3 (3, 3) 50g balls; quantities of yarn stated are based on average requirements and are therefore approximate. 1 pair each 6.00 (No 4) and 5.00 (No 6) Milward or Patons Beehive knitting needles; Milward tapestry needle and plain yarn for sewing seams; 15 buttons.

Note: The garment is worked throughout using 2 strands of Cottontop [worsted weight] or 3 strands of Gem [fingering weight].

Measurements: Fits underarm 60 (65, 70) cm, measures 66 (71, 76) cm, length 40 (44, 48) cm, sleeve seam 26 (31, 35) cm.

Tension: 15½ sts to 10cm in width over garter st, using Cottontop double and 6.00 (No 4) needles.
