Should you wish to have a more traditional sized blanket, you can add rows to the center section to create the length you want. The tails are braided lengths of yarn, knotted at the ends, slipped through the blanket, and FIRMLY sewn to the blanket after the knitting is completed. As knitted, it takes 2 1/2 skeins of yarn.
