These slippers are so simple that you can knit them and watch TV without turning them in to a pair of ear muffs for lack of attention.

Slippers are seamless and include the use of short rows and knitting in the round. If you are new to either of these it is a good pattern try these techniques out. You can use knitting in the round method of your choice; magic loop, 2 circular needles or double points.

Yarn is held double stranded to give a nice modern, chunky look. So your yarn will need to be divided into two balls.

When you are done you’ll have patience and time to spare so why not go all out and add some of your own personal touches. Think felted flowers, interesting colour combinations, grandmothers buttons, fat straps, thin straps, thrumming the possibilities are endless.
