Jake Hat is knit in the round, using smaller needles than usually recommended for this yarn so that it will be extremely wind- and water-resistant. Scarf is knit flat, in rows, using slightly
larger needles than those used for hat. Hat and scarf both feature doubled “fabric” for extra warmth and true reversibility.
