It’s a simple bag, worked with principles for knitting a flat circle from center out, no seams (besides fastening the handles) are necessary. The beautiful big button was the namesake for the pattern (Knopf = German for: button).

The yarn can be substituted by any super-bulky or bulky (in this case: use it doubled) feltable yarn.

Errata
The handles should be 70 rows before binding off!

Finished width: 40 cm (16 inches), height 20 cm (8 inches) - measured at the button, length of straps: 60 cm (24 inches)
