I wanted a masculine pattern and thought this perfect. The diamond shapes give it a unique 3D or textured look. I used approximently 20 skeins of yarn. I used caron simply soft as my grandson has s texture issue and so I wanted a soft feel to the blanket. Mine fits a single bed or covers a double bed.
