Finished Measurement:
The directions are given for an adult hat, worked brim up. Circumference 22-25” (55.8-63.5 cm), Length 8” (20.3 cm). Length is adjustable to wearer’s preference – see notes within instruction.

Yarn Requirements:
Necessary yardage will vary with any adjustments to length.

Main Color (MC): Approximately 130 yards (119m) were required for hat 8” (20.3 cm) from crown tip to rim. Additional yardage will be necessary should you wish to lengthen your hat. Shown in Cascade 220 (220 yards/100grams, 100% wool, color: 9326 Colonial Blue Heather).

Contrast Color (CC): Approximately 30 yards (25m) were required for stripes as shown. Shown in Cascade 220 (220 yards/100grams, 100% wool, color: 8407 Oyster).

Recommended Needles:
Size 5 (3.75mm) 16” circular needles and a set of double pointed needles (DPNs) in the same size.
