Jane is a classic wool sweater dress with girlish charm, designed to fit 18” dolls with an 11” chest circumference, such as American Girl. It has an allover, wide rib pattern with a dramatic cable down the front. The main part of the bodice is worked in one piece from the top-down, the skirt in one piece from the bottom-up, then the two are joined at the waist while stitches are still live.

There are 420 yards per skein of Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Solids, but for those substituting yarn, only approx. 225 yards of fingering weight are needed.

The difficulty level of this pattern is: Intermediate - uses a variety of stitches and techniques, with mid-level finishing skills required.
