After watching the mini-series of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice 1995 with Colin Firth, I was inspired by the beautiful muslin dresses of the Regency era. I have therefore designed two cropped fitted jackets to wear over a long Regency style dress* or over a lacy camisole top and tight jeans for a more contemporary look.

Whatever your fancy, the Jane Austen Shug is a great addition to your wardrobe! The garment is knitted in lace-weight yarn in stocking stitch and has a simple crocheted border. It is really easy to make and takes less than no time to finish!

Happy knitting!
