A HEAD FOR FASHION is a 6-pattern collection for sale as both a mini e-book and as individual patterns. Each project is inspired by a famous female fashion designer who was active during the Roaring Twenties.

Starting Nov. 1, 2014 you can purchase the HEAD FOR FASHION e-book mini-collection OR the individual patterns on both Ravelry and on my website: http://www.julieturjoman.com.

Jane Blanchot’s couture millinery atelier, the Parisian Millinery Co., was active throughout the 1920s until 1949. Blanchot applied her passion for sculpture to her hat designs with the use of innovative constructions and sculptural forms. A textured color work band sets off the delicate lace cap and aureole crown in this creation, resulting in a slouchy cloche design that is as lovely as it is practical.
